Srinagar, Aug 12 (KNO): Srinagar resonated with patriotic fervour as the “Tiranga Rally” was inaugurated by the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha at the International Convention Centre (SKICC) which concluded at the Botanical Garden here. The rally saw participation from thousands of residents from diverse backgrounds. According to details obtained by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), with top officials, including representatives from the police, CRPF, and local administration in attendance, the rally symbolised collective commitment to the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The residents and others from the administration were seen holding the tricolour flag in their hands while walking in unity. The rally, which culminated at the Botanical Garden, featured participants waving the national flag and singing patriotic songs. The Lieutenant Governor, delivering a speech to the participants after the culmination of the rally, said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in Jammu and Kashmir has grown to be a people’s movement. “May our beloved and victorious Tricolor fly high in the world,” he said. "Everyone should bring the tricolour flag to their home and later hoist it in order to be a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign," he added. Sinha released a ‘Monograph’ dedicated to the martyrs and bravehearts of Jammu and Kashmir and launched the Tiranga signature campaign. A traffic advisory had already been issued to ensure smooth vehicular movement and public safety. The advisory urged commuters to avoid the designated route during the yatra and suggested alternative roads to minimise inconvenience—(KNO)
